Crazily expensive RTX 3080@4K 60... but only 10GB video memory. Just for starters, even an ancient game engine like Fallout 76's uses over 12GB of video memory sometimes at 4K ultra textures on my 16GB Radeon RX 6800 GPU. Since I still have more video memory than even that crazy texture memory useage, no jitters or slowdowns when you turn around in a high detail area. Less video memory = jerks and stutters when you turn around in a high detail map area. Just say no to nVidia's memory cheapness.

You should try linux distro with kernel 5.11, it will push CPU performance for AMD to the another level.
I'm sorry AMD you have done well but my money is still on Intel. I'm waiting for 8 Core Tiger Lake H 45W CPUs with Thunderbolt 4 for eGPU. I could even wait for Alder Lake P. Intel should really have adopted PCIe4.0 for Thunderbolt 4 so that eGPUs have more bandwidth. Still I have more faith on Thunderbolt on USB-C. We might even get PCIe 5.0 on Thunderbolt with Alder Lake.

Use case. As a 2-in-1, it is geared toward artists and content creators who also happen to have a passion for gaming. Also, the existence of an eGPU means putting a better GPU inside a useless move to increase the price. In my opinion, ASUS nailed this laptop.

My Alienware 51m with RTX 2080 Super is still smashing most of these new 30 series laptops in Benchmarks, I love the Flow EGPU though, it's fantastic and much less disappointing than the Alienware Graphics Amplifier which has been discontinued, cannot be purchased and does not support 30 series cards (except maybe the 3070 once drivers have been refreshed)
